Just cannot get enough of the ‘ERCOL - Blonde, Model 398 Mid Century Vintage Coffee & Occasional Table - 1960s
A classic original Ercol Coffee table with blue label makers mark.
Designer - Lucian Ercolani from the Windsor Collection.
This is the rarer 398 model of the famous Ercol coffee table. Made for only a couple of years, this predecessor to the more common 459 model has the magazine rack sitting higher and different number of spindles.
Beautiful solid elm top in absolutely stunning striped grain with softly rounded edges so typical of the Ercol style. Sat on top of beech rounded gently tapering legs and a spindled magazine rack underneath.
Condition :- Refurbished. This is an original light finish (‘Blonde’) table, not one that has been stripped back from a darker stain. The top has been stripped and refinished. Excellent condition.

As a vintage item, this has had a previous life and as such will carry marks and imperfections that tell their individual stories. Whilst I have refurbished the piece, there will still be the odd mark from usage which aren’t distracting and only add to its character.
