From renowned maker Greaves & Thomas, a  dramatic, flame mahogany sideboard with tapered brass tipped feet and ‘campaign style’ pull handles to the drawers.
Consisting of two sets of double doors opening to various shelving and compartments with 2 large wide drawers above.
As with all pieces by Greaves & Thomas, this is superb quality and great example of high-end construction. Reassuringly heavy too! 
Condition is very good having received a full strip and refinish with OSMO wax oil, leaving a durable surface and a lovely soft sheen. Please note, even after a full restoration, like any vintage piece, expect a few minor remaining marks/dings, evidence of its near 60 years of use. (The sticker on the back stated manufacturing date as 1968, see penultimate photo). A previous owner had cut a few holes in the back panel for the cables. I’ve covered these with a new panel internally matching the existing wood so you'd never know.  And, just to tidy up things, I've added an external panel too. See last photo.
